I have a friend that has a setup using a P30 that is currently chipped and running Hondata. He bought the car already setup, and he doesnt have the software, or the hardware to tune it with the Hondata, and niether do I, and he cant seem to get it from the guy he bought the car from. I have everything needed to tune with Uberdata, and I am willing to use my Uberdata chipped ecu from my own setup to tune his with and I was wondering if I could tune it using my ecu and Uberdata, and just burn the chip and install in his P30 and get rid of the Hondata box?

 

You can simply disconnect the hondata unit & tune the car on uberdata.
Uberdata does require j12 to be in place to properly datalog.

 

Thanks bro, I'll just tune it using my ecu then, I'm not sure if his has the J12 or not, I would have to check it, but I'll just tune with my ecu since i know it works perfectly, my car is down right now anyways, and just burn and instal to his ecu.
