Uberdata and JRSC
Alright im running a jackon on my z6 in my crx converted to obd1.
I have the 450's installed an a very basic base map. Doenst run all that great.
I need some ideas or experience with uberdata and jrsc.
Uberdata and the jackson dont seem to mix that well, atleast compared to turbo.
Does anyone have any input?
Please be nice. I did search and there wasnt much with the JRSC and uberdata.
Setup.
d16z6
jrsc @8lbs
dsm 450's
uberdata
Base map
140 fuel efficiency
4-8 psi range I had to add 5% fuel
Pulls decent. But there is alot of flat spots, and some hesistation.
I have been taking it easy for fear of doing damage.
I dunno it ru ns but i need some input. Im pretty new to this. and that is what a guy told me to do til he figured out a good bin with his wideband etc.
So anyways....another other ideas?
Be nice..

Re: Uberdata and JRSC (brent_G)
Keep in mind that with parasitic drag on the engine from the blower, the engine is actually making more power than you feel from the car's acceleration. The engine needs more fuel because of this. You also have more heat coming in your engine than with a non-IC turbo setup, Eaton blowers generate a lot of heat. I'd be very conservative with the ignition timing - and that means not yanking too much ignition, too.
Flat spots and hesitation = problems with the tune. The problem isn't UD, the problem is you need some time with a wideband. Do you have a friend with one, or can you spare the money for one?

Well thats actually the thing. i know a guy i talk to on d-series.org with a very simlar setup. Hes going to be doing all the tuning with his wideband and make a decent setup. but in the mean time i was trying to figure somethign out to run for now.
It seemed to be much faster with the fmu haha. well run much better overall.

brent put the obd0 MAP sensor on the fire wall and run a vac line to the back of the blower if your using an 0BD1 TB or MAP its on TB and it will not see boost Because its BEFORE the blower.....idk just thought

Re: Uberdata and JRSC (IAmTheRealKevron)
i was just gonna post that up. There map doenst read boost on a jackson!!!
But yeah the trick is to remove the map from the throttle body. Plug the hole in the TB then add a vacumm hose from the back of the jackson to the map sensor then it will read the boost.
Because no matter what happens the af guage leans out. even with a fuel efficency of 140.
So yeah thats the latest news i found out last night.

Re: Uberdata and JRSC (MADEINIRAQ)
im sure its uberdata's fault that you cannot load a basemap, first try, and have it run perfectly. Lord knows hondata would have done that! I dunno why it just does!
