Default uberdata to hondata ecu....what now???

sup guys,
im ready to re-tune my car,and i was going to go with uberdata again. i had uberdata but i cant get ahold of my old tuner,so i went to inline pro and they didnt have th software to do uberdata,so i went ahead and bought the hondata s200 series. they also told me i cant use my already socketed/chipped uberdata ecu,i would have to get an ecu re-socketed/chipped to run my hondata. is this true? and what all do they have to do different to the ecu to enable me to run hondata instead of uberdata? can i use my hondata with a 28-pin socket/chip,or is there more you have to do to the ecu to run hondata?

If they really said that then find someone else to tune your car. As long as you have a 4 pin connector on the board they are full of ****. WTF is wrong with the world these days?

Yes, I'm sure. They use the same chips as everyone else. All you need is a regular ole 29C256 chip and the 4 pin header to plug the bluebox garbage into.

^^^yup what he said. if ur ECU was already chipped, all u need to do is add the 4 pin connectors to connect the hondata wire to the board

Hmm, thats interesting. I removed J12 for crome, which is slightly different than uberdata, but Im almost positive that datalogging will be faster with J12 removed. It enables full duplex datalogging.

yes this is 100% true with crome. But I am pretty sure that uberdata was written to use half duplex datalogging.
