For all the "uberdata is gay" people, here are my personal experiences.
I've done two sucessfull uberdata cars so far. I soldered the ecu's up myself, built base ROM's, and burnt the chips myself. Both cars started up, idled, and ran like stock cars would. However both cars have a 255lph pump and 525cc injectors. One a b18 the other a d16y8.
Tried an obd0-obd1 swap friday night because I believe in uberdata that much. Couldn't get it running because after a long day I accidently swapped the CKP and CYL sensor wires on the distributor (long story but not really MY fault). The ecu threw the codes but we had to revert back to OBD0 to get the car running for saturday morning.
So, if uberdata sucks I can honestly say its all user error. Uberdata sucks comments are at best ignorant. However they are even worse at being misinformative.

I guess its the new thing that if you run uberdata and it works great then you should bash it.

It's not cheaping out. It does almost exactly the same stuff as hondata for like 1/5 the price of hondata. I'm extremely happy with my uberdata and I'm even happier that I didn't spend $1000 on Hondata.

if you guys would just pony up the $$$ for an aem ems, we wouldn't even be having this discussion...lol.
only reason i mentioned that is because this dude i know spent 2500 bucks for the system and for the shop to "tune" it. i use this term loosely, because the car runs like absolute crap and blows black smoke all over the place. amateurs...
his b16 civic swap with 18g greddy turbo kit is the biggest hack job i've ever witnessed.
