Looks great. Pop a chip in and go to the dyno with 190whp BEFORE TUNING at 8psi on a t04b with 9:1 a/f ratio and big injectors for 100$ total?

ill take it over 100psi fuel pressures anyday !

Looks like easily 215 or so whp on an LS at 8psi once tuned on a t04b, sounds good to me!

I read something into what you posted, and for that I apologise. As you say, you don't like the guy... I ASSumed you were insinuating something.

woah, slow down. its 11:1 a/f ratio when he came in which is really not that bad. but yeh, w/ about 4 more degrees timing and 11.8 a/f i definitly see 210whp in the future.

looks like its about a 9:1 a/f ratio up top...

also, it looks like on the stop map its about 1degree per #

we'll see how much it makes when tuned

wow what a soap opera. Uber is gone, but his memory lives on........................funny ****.

Hopfully we'll beable to get some more base maps in circulation as this chip gets out there more. Once I get my chip and the car on the dyno and figure out the software, then I'll offer my base map up.

Uberteg has been gone a few times before, also I think he has a temper problem but he's a different person when you're working with him.

He's got a good thing going here that most people have had really good luck with.

BTW - Because so many people are wanting the EEPROM burners, I've sourced all the components and am looking at either buying the Batronix circuit boards in bulk or perhaps having a clone made (it would have a barrell connector for the power supply because I hate the screw terminals the Batronix uses).

I can probably sell them for $60 assembled, including a power supply. Currently it will cost you about $55 incl shipping from Germany if you buy the burner in DIY kit form, plus a power supply (I needed mine quick so I had to get it from Radioshack, cost about $20).

It might take me a bit to get this going (if I do end up doing it) because we've got alot going on right now selling the house, buying a new house, etc etc etc.

you guys might not like uber, most likely because he has made fun of you at one point or another. but you can dis a product like this. id say about another year developement, this will be as good as hondata. hes working on datalogging as we speak. in the time that i have talked to him through email and in here he has been very helpful. by the way dude, with tuning youll easily gain around 20-25 horses. your timing is hella retarded and your fuel maps are rich as ****. i bet the back of your car is black from how rich you are running.

datalogging already exists.

the only other feature hondata has his doesnt is the ability to tune on the fly, which you can do with an eprom emulator.

honestly i thikn its just as good as hondata right now, he just needs more RPM adjustment points and to work on his rounding.

its seems to me its like getting all antsy in your pantsy about something equivalent to a hondata basemap. its completely generic and supposed to be tuned. so a basemap making 180whp on 8psi seems alright to me.

his chip is pretty decent....especially untuned, it leaves room for more power to be made while not sacrificing the safety of the individuals setup untuned... His chips would cost a lot more if he tuned it for everyone's individual setup... Remember people, this is just a basemap, there have been lots of people that have used AEM standalones and hondata, and have not been able to start up their cars on the basemaps... I'd pick losing a couple of whp untuned and driving my car reliably over not having my car being able to start... direp, u made 225whp @ 8psi on a t04e, much bigger turbo than a t3/t4b...with a lot more aggressive timing, we should have comparisons with the same turbos...tuned...his chip is a good bargain for the price

yeh, its really hard to say how much 4deg. timing and a leaner a/f will make a difference. I should have specified I made those #'s w/ a to4e though ur right. I am predicting if he adds 4deg advance and cleans up the a/f he can hit 210whp. which is pretty on par for a turbo LS t04b. nothing bad about that #, pretty good if u ask me. I think for a base map it is great, I just would hate to see anyone buy the chip, drop it in, and never touch it. u know?

I think once you get it tuned you are going to have some good numbers.

Blake aka UberTeg told me to tune my chip via S-AFC because this will advance the timing a bit and would be perfect when boosting. I'm also getting the burner and will be tuning my car with the AFC until I know where I need to tune and what I can leave alone.

i have the burner, the software, and i am putting my chip in tegasaurus's car because i am not boosted. we will tune it and post results soon with a t3/t4e on an LS messing with the timing / getting a nice a/f.

S-afc has no bearing upon the timing at all.

Hey, i may have stepped into this convo a little late, but why is everyone bashing an untuned setup? There's obviously more potential to be had, so why doesn't everyone give it a little time, and let him come up with the final product. THEN we'll have the results in stone and can make our judgments from there.

actualy all the afc dose is change the map sensor values. this not only changes the way it scales your fuel map but your timing map at the same time. there is no way to rescale the fule map with out scaleing the timeing at the same time. you add fuel it advances your timing, you subtract fuel you retard your timing.
