Ok, here it is. Stock LS @8psi, with UberChip. EDIT: It's untuned.

yeah, looks very rich. Better to play safe than blow up, though, eh?

would have probably made more power w/ a damn fmu and inline pump

its a t3/t4B... not an e guys

some tuning of the a/f and ignition curve could extract a good bit more amount of hp.

I'd say that's a pretty damn good base map given that he just guessed conservatively on the fuel and ignition values. Definitely better to be safe than sorry if you're selling to the masses.

yep, it was. but still. those chips are worthless if you dont tune them, i seriously know a fmu and inline will put down more power than that.

Hey, as I said, this is untuned. This was a baseline, no tuning involved. Check back in a few weeks for the tuned edition of this dyno plot.

You can bash Blake as a person, and everybody laughs and agrees. Bashing a real world accomplishment because you dislike someone is ******* immature.

It's a cheap, UNtuned chip sent out the door pig rich so a "tard," as Blake would say, won't blow something up. It makes sucessful power without risking your engine like the inline + FMU would. If the person getting dyno'd had the actual dirt ******* cheap tuner app, and their head out of their ***, they would have had the "usual" numbers for their setup. Can you disagree with any of this?

Yes, but what can you do to tune the FMU an inline pump?

Nothing.

Raise/lower fuel pressure, but that's it. That ain't gonna do jack. I did the FMU route initially and it was piece of **** and a total waste of time and money.

The base map may not make a lot of power, but the fact that you can tune the chip for another $100 is a helluva deal. I'm happy with my Hondata and it's additional features, but for the price, the Uberchip is a bargain...even if the developer's social skills leave a little to be desired.

Hey now, be nice. He has the software. Tuning is way more $ than a basemap. Like I said, stay tuned for a tuned version. No heads in asses here.

mase is right about the inline/fmu. but its not really the fuel, its the timing.

I made 230/198 on my set up @ 8lbs w/ stock timing and 11:1 a/f just like on that dyno graph. w/ the hondata @ .7deg retard per psi and 12:1 a/f I made 225/195

You are loosing alot of power from timing. Ive read that ubers chip has 1deg retard per psi. you could probably make about 15 more whp w/ some safe advance and cleaner a/f.

Personally I would never run a chip made by someone I don't trust. His personal turbo set up and his attitude are what made me think twice about running the chip. and eventually turning his offer down. Hopefully it works out for u guys.

What about if he just changed the ign timing to .7 and kept the rest the same?

actually my bad. when I made 225whp @ 8lbs that was w/ .7deg retard/psi in boost but 2deg total advance all the way accross the map. The Actual value was about 27deg @ 8lbs 5k-7k rpms, for anyone wondering. w/ ubers chip I think it is more like 22-23.

Thats funny, i dont remember saying anything about "blake" I was talking about the chip. I honestly think its very cool that someone came up w/ this, but i dont think its a good idea to just throw out a bunch of chips. however i do like the fact they are tune-able.

hrmm, so you're saying there is no risk w/ this chip? i know you know too little timing can destroy a motor too, and running awful rich isnt the best idea in the world either.

regardless, i think it will be just fine w/ tuning.

LOL...you changed your nick again??

1 deg/psi is definitely reeallly conservative on the ignition advance. However, that's something I'd feel comfortable in giving people and telling them it's safe to boost on.

I gave my highly tuned Hondata JRSC map to a lot of people, but I always pulled a lot of timing out of the map before giving it to them. I didn't want the liability of a blown motor because my settings were too aggressive for someone else's setup.

Mase, you're in another Uber-thread, your dislike is obvious and has been for a long time. I like you inasmuch as I know you, and this doesn't suit you.

obviously you've read it all wrong there cool guy. I like the uberchip w/ the tune-able feature, I dislike uberteg sure. This thread has nothing to do w/ uberteg personally, so ******* leave him out of it..

But just because i dont like someone doesnt mean that their product couldnt work. I'd still recommend the chip to someone who cant afford a higher end standalone....just not the untuned blowing black smoke, misfiring chip.
