Default Type R Pistons Authenticity

Quick question, how do you authenticate Type R Pistons? I see a bunch of guys on H-T advertising that they have them I'm interested only thing is I don't know how to tell if they are true USDM Type R Pistons...PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!!!!

they say p73 on them, and like JDM and USDM have a slight difference, liek 00s and 0 or something, not sure i forgot. But i have USDM ones for sale if u are interested.

yep as was stated above, they have p73 (with some 0's behind it) stamped on the piston top. also there may be a slight difference in looks since the JDM has a bit higher dome than the USDM. also the ITR pistons have the skirts coated from the factory, whereas the p30 (B16), p72 (B18C1) and p61 (i think that's the code for the B17A) don't. but the CTR pistons also have the coating like the ITR pistons.
