Type R oil pump on B16??

Default Type R oil pump on B16??

so i wanna put a type R oil pump on my b16, and i wanna know if i just go to the acura dealership and order it? or is there a specific one i need? also, i have a moroso oil pan on my b16 with the kick out. what pick up do i use? with the b16 you use the LS pickup...do i still use the same pickup with the type R oil pump?

If he still has the b16 motor he has to use a b16 timing belt. B18 timing belt would be too big. All VTEC water pumps are 22 teeth.

Just buy the Oil pump, install it and call it a day.

would a gsr timing blet fit a b16 motor?

the gsr and itr's shortblocks are longer/taller.

so i can use a type R oil pump, b/c all b-series oil pumps are interchangable. and i just still have to use the pick up for the b16. and of course keep the b16 timing belt. sounds good.
