Default type-r head

guys, is it wise to put a type-r (b18c5) head on a GSR block with 9:1 CR. Do my CR drop or increase?

I know it will drop your compression if you had the stock gsr pistons so I guess it will drop CR with the aftermarket pistons.....

yes, it will drop compression

is it wise? for what a type R head will cost you I'd say you're better off getting custom head work done, but finding someone who konws what they are doing isn't always easy
