Not really sure if it belongs in forced induction....but I had no idea where else to put it. Nissan guys would say its lame because it doesn't get sideways.

yea, but after that hold on cos you're gonna see some ****. i had to school a mustang a fwe months ago at 8am in my little town. w were doing 130 plus down mainstreet and the speed limit was 25.... imagine me asking the officer how fast i was going, lol

Thrust turbines are fine, but hook a couple of these up to a transmission:

Nothing like a 97 pound turboshaft engine to get your car going. This is actually the starter motor from a jet fighter, but puts out a tremendous amount of torque for its size.

nope no aerospace recycling yard's here in iowa.. I seriously don't know where that guy those those engines from, He also had a dodge dakota onthere not to long ago on ebay with 2 jet engines in the bed of it...

Civilian spec Turbofan/turboshaft engines are easy to come by. He probably has a friend that has a small jet aircraft that sells him the engines when they are no longer serviceable on the aircraft.
