Default Twin Disc Drivability?

I didn't even think about this, but what's the drivability like on a twin disc? I drove my buddies DSM with a twin disc and the car chattered at idle, but that was the only down side (not even a major one for me). I could slip the clutch and it shifted smooth. Will that be the same on my Competition Clutch twin disc I ordered since this is going to be daily driven, as in my only car daily driven? Pic for views:

you should be fine, you will just have to switch out discs more often then with a street clutch

Yea, I figured that much. I was thinking about not even putting it on until I build the block, since I will only see about 20-30k on those discs on the street. I only plan on running 300whp until I build a block.

I don't know 'avg mileage,' but just thought I'd chime in, the amount of use you get out of any clutch is Heavily dependent on how you use it / drive.

As in, slip the clutch as little as possible, it should last you quite a while.

i dont daily mine but it has the 500 mile break in, which i will never do again, about 30 dyno pulls and 10 very hard passes down the 1320 and still working great.

to exedy twins.

good luck with the cc twin. i know of a person that had an issue with theirs this weekend that switched back to their old setup while in the pits.

Agreed, its harsh engaugment so you need to get used to it. and if you use stock master and slave the pedal is heavy but again you get used to it and ive come to love the pdeal feedback

Also go with a modified stock pressure plate or the heavier tilton one because the light flywheel is superlight. if your not quick shifting the rpm's drop real fast in between gears
