Re: Turbonetics turbo id
Heh. Now I'm dating myself. This is a Circa 2005-2007 Turbonetics turbocharger using some Garrett parts (compressor wheel & Exhaust wheel), and Turbonetics CHRA and housings.
This was known as their 60-1 "Hi-Fi" standard shaft series.
Compressor:
T04B 60-1 59.01mm/76.2mm (#20230T)
58lbs/min
CHRA
Oil cooled only CHRA (#20327)
- 1/4NPT oil feed oriface
- "Standard Shaft" turbine shaft
- Standard Dynamic sealing ring system (Backplate #20616)
Turbine:
Generation 1 Stage 5 turbine wheel (#20349-05)
.82A/R Volute
5 bolt Ford Style Turbine housing.
Basically, it's a nice turbocharger for what it was back in 2005-2007. You could easily make over 540whp with this turbocharger with and efficiency range of about 25-27psi or so.
If it's in good shape, keep it. It's a nice unit to use and have. If it needs to be rebuilt or upgraded, you'd be able to use Garrett parts this time around.
Good luck to you, and you're welcome
