Default Turbonetics D16Y7 turbo Kit

I just purchased a turbonetics FMAX turbo kit for my 1999 honda civic sedan (D16y7). I had a few questions.

1.) Should i buy new axels or will the stock axels be sufficient for the claimed 200hp?

2.) Should i purchase a transmission cooler to keep the transmission from building too much heat? (Its an Automatic, unfortunately)

3.) I know when performance goes up, longevity goes down, but is there any problems that anyone has had with this kit or with boosting a stock SOHC civic?

Car has 55,000 original miles.

Just speeking from what I have heard!!! dont nail me
but I think the auto tranny has problems when more power is added so anything to beef it up or cool it down sounds good

I dont' think you will need a tranny cooler, but if you want it will only help you, wont hurt you. If you want you can even get a oil cooler to cool down you oil.
The SOHC will hold boost just fine. You should be able to go 7lbs no problem with the right supporting mods. 55k is great...the lower the mileage the safer for boost, that is if the engine is in good condition.
You will not need aftermarket axles for your setup at 200HP. If you were pushing maybe like 200+lbs of torgue maybe. It's the torque that will brake axles.
All in all...I think you'll be fine.

maybe you should look into a manual transmission swap. should not be to expensive. You can pick up a manual transmission for pretty damn cheap and its accomodating parts. I have a p2p manual ecu. Would almost give it away. Just a suggestion.
