Sorry that took so long had to figure out how to get it up here ha ha. well there she is. the main reason im asking all these questions is it smokes a little and it leaks a little bit of oil. so im debating on sending it off for a rebuild or just get a new turbo all together.

yup same turbo i had, i made 317hp on 12psi on a stock gsr with sk2 intake mani, revhard log mani, 650cc injectors and walboro fuel pump. Seems like your turbo seals are bad, i say if you can get a rebuild under 300 bucks do it, if its more, dont do it and just save up for a new turbo, that way you know the specs and what to expect from it

yeah ill look around and see what shops around here do them for. prolly 350 i believe is the standard rate. Im shooting for about 340whp on a ls/vtec wont be done till next year though. Sure this turbo can handle that correct?

my buddy had one on a eagle talon making around 450 with it maxed out at aroung 20 psi. i would go ahead and save for a new turbo unless you can get a rebuild for pretty cheap.

Not exactly sure why nobody has mentioned this...but Turbonetics has their own page dedicated to helping people figure out what they have...
http://74.208.101.201/forum/tech-sup....html#post5821

and someone correct me if im wrong, but to me thats NOT a turbonetics turbo.....Arent all turbonetics turbos supposed to have a flat/anodized back plate??? usually the ebay knock-offs have the ribbed back plate like that.

and again..could be wrong here...but i dont think any of the "60-series" (60-1, 60-1 hi-fi, 62-1 etc) were internally gated like the one in the pics above.

the t4 compressors were, but i've seen garrett style back plates on the t3 compressors.
that and the size leads me to believe its a t3 not a t3/t4

the waste gate is on a bolt on 5 to 3 bolt piece.
the exhaust 5 bolt housings just have a hole there (again, garrett style).
