Re: TurboLScrx - Making my return to the fold
going to the track tomorrow, high will be around 40 deg ...burrrr.... puts its awesome turbo power making weather, just don’t know how the track will be prepped.... all I know is I’m leaving the line like a bat out of hell tomorrow with having launch control for the first time ever! I’m hoping to see trap speeds 120-126mph, if I get that I’m guessing a very deep 11 sec pass, possibly a 10.9999999 lol. I’m going to do some videos while out there

Didn’t get the times I wanted, but still not terrible either. I’ll upload a video later. Best time was a 11.63 and best speed was 119.91mph , best 60ft was 1.74. I need more time to play with launch control, it felt like it was falling on its face

Pretty fair prediction you made then!

Re: TurboLScrx - Making my return to the fold
119.91 would easily round to 120 Mid 11 quarter as well. Lots of folks would be thrilled at that! You'll catch that 10 before long.

until your car runs tens they are pretty laid back, I’m personally going to install a roll cage and will be wearing a helmet from now on since I’m about to build the motor and there are little doubt that the car will go 10’s or 9’s

Re: TurboLScrx - Making my return to the fold
since Ive been running on 93 pump gas, I’m going to play around with some race fuel this week and adding some timing back, I’ve got almost 8 deg pulled at 10 psi, back in the day I never pulled any timing at 10-12 psi and I had only added race fuel and never ran into knock. Adding 4-7 deg of timing back should help quite a bit I would think. I really really want that 120mph

Re: TurboLScrx - Making my return to the fold
Things didn’t go well this weekend, car never felt right so I put it up instead of taking a chance of scattering it’s guts all over the track. Ran a 12.4 @113mph and it felt like it had no power. I’ll pull the motor starting over the next few weeks for the build and hopefully have it finished up be the start of the season.

thanks, it much easier to build a motor that hadn’t been scattered, I wanted to make the 10’s so badly before I pulled the motor but it’s not worth it if I destroyed it.

Re: TurboLScrx - Making my return to the fold
As somebody that’s cared only about drag racing I never even thought about someone not understanding what I meant, I will try to be more precise with my comments from now on. I really wanted my car to break in to the 10 sec territory was the general goal

understandable. Burr many of those that have dealt with these bills for so long, particularly in turbo selection, realize that there is more to the world of turbos than drag racing. Purpose defines what components are best utilized
