turboing auto
i think im just going to end up buying a turbo'ed civic and save all the trouble. I like my accord for communiting, but i want something fun too, which is why i wanted to put them together ( auto + turbo). I was also looking at the LSD auto tranny for my car. Would that help? And is the only thing holding me back from the auto the torque converter? and is there anyway to rebuild it stronger or get a better one?
You can rebuild your auto tranny to withstand more power or run a Level 10 torque convertor... but you'll end up just wasting money. Trust me, spend 600-800 bucks and do a 5spd swap. I know you want to keep what you have... but in the end the 5spd swap will outweigh the auto in any aspect possible.
But if you want a turbo civic, go for it

well i don't want to spend alot on my accord, when i could just get a turbo'ed civic for like 3000, which is what im assuming it would cost around for me to do a swap and turbo my accord, plus the time and frustration. But i could be really wrong. I mean i love my accord, but i think i'll keep it the way it is and just pick up something thats already standard and turbo'ed to save on the headache of figuring it out.
