Default turboedit in a pm6 and vss/eld sensors

can i use turboedit on a pm6 ecu to eliminate the need for vss and eld sensors?

vss is the sensor that tells the ecu how fast the car is going

u cant eliminate it, or u will trow a code

now, if u worried about the 112 mph fuel cutoff from a JDM ecu, yes turboedit does have an option to eliminate it

as far as the ELD, i dont know what u mean... unless u talking about the Electric Load Detector... theres no way to get rid of that.. is a very important sensor that will read any loads on ur electrical wiring, wich can save ur motor...

i am talking about putting the 2nd gen crx pm6 ecu and distributor in a 1st gen crx (i need electronic advance instead of vacuum)

the 1st gen si does not have the VSS and i don't know if it has an ELD, but im not worried about using either one unless there is absolutely no way around it. i know that i can use the cluster out of an hf for the VSS, but if i can reprogram the ecu not to use it, then i will.

i am planning on using turboedit and a romulator to reprogram the ecu to accomodate larger injectors and a few pounds of boost, i would just as soon knock those sensors out without buying more crap.

ELD wont do anything except make the ECU blink 20 times...dont even think it will throw a dash light.

I'm not sure about your VSS issue. Many people on homemadeturbo.com and http://www.pgmfi.org have converted up from DPFI to MPFI and use the PM6 ECU in older Gen CRXs.

Check around there for some better answers...but I think the simple answer to your question is YES
