Default turbo'd b16

want turbo for my b16 hatch. the mods are greddy catback exhaust, dc header and aem coldair intake. thinkin about turbo and wants to know if it would be o.k for the stock motor...(intake and header going to be gone anyways) car going to b a daily driver and a little bit drag racing here and there. so, nothing crazy

yeah as long as its nicely tune and dont go over 10psi you should be ok

you can run 15+psi all day. all in the tune.

psi is relevant to turbo size. 15 psi on a GT35R isnt the same as 15psi on a 14b.

As kong as the tune is great Boost on. Just remember b16's have been known to have weak ringlands so you don't want to push the boost too high.

the guy with 2 posts and is in trial just schooled u guys.

it would be safe as long as its tuned properly and i wouldnt push the b16 past 275whp. sure it can make more power but if this is your dd u want it to last a while.

Agreed.. all these people talking about 350whp on a stock motor.. yeah, it may get up there, but its not something I'd feel comfortable driving every day.

ive seen people with 300whp driving it dayly with no problem its all about the tune
