I am having a major problem, I have been working on this turbo for many weeks now and it still wont build boost at 100% throttle. I can feel a difference at about 50-75% throttle but everything after that doesn't feel like it is building boost. I think it is my vacuum lines but I also think it might be a map sensor but I am not throwing any codes for it to be a map sensor. It would really help if anyone out there has had this problem before. I have a couple friends that have turbos and none of them can figure out what is wrong .But any suggestions would help right. I don't know what else to do.

make sure you don't have any exhaust leaks before the turbo.a long time ago when i installed my first drag kit,i did not notch the block enough and i had the same problem.notched it a little more and it was fine.

Do you have a boost gauge? Whats it doing.

 

yea check the gaskets, i had a leak from my manifodl gasket and wg gasket, i was still building boost, but wasnt what it shoulda been
