ok, here is my deal. i just got done rebuilding my car. everthing is perfect except when im driving it, it wont start to boost until 6000-7000RPM. i had a feeling it was the wastegate arm being bent so i disconnected the arm and went full boost to check but again it dont boost until 6000-7000RPM. i have no idea what it could be except that i have the Power FC and it was sset to 10.6 compression and now i am running 9.2. maybe that effected it but i highly doubt it. also i was thinking maybe the turbo kit which was for a GSR was not the right turbo for my car and the impellars on teh compressor and turbin shaft are angled wrong for that low of compression. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME IF ANYONE OUT THER CAN I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT!!

ways to check these would be greatly appreciated. i hva eno turbo leaks i know for sure also my intake manifold is operfect, boost gauge is also in proper working condition last of all its a 98 turbo type r, with a 18g turbo on it taht worke dperfectly vefore i ble wup teh car. it has minnimal shaft play..

Check all the places exhaust could leak out. Head to manifold, manifold to turbo, turbo to downpipe, etc. I blew the gasket out between my turbo and manifold and I don't build boost until around 5k rpm now.
