Water came from a "T" in the water line under the TB, return was to the block on the head.

T off one of the hoses from the water transfer tube.

I used rubber until it got close to the turbo. I think on a street engine you may want to wrap the rubber hose if it's close to high heat areas. Better safe then sorry on a hot day in traffic.

I'd do it that way if I could on either one of our engines, but I use a block heater for mine and the other one uses a GT4294R with -8AN ports. I haven't seen anybody make a M28x1.00 to -8AN flare adapter for the block, so we're still using whatever available ports on the block, head, thermostat housing, intake manifold, etc.

Large frame turbos have a larger port size than the medium sized ones. I don't know anything about the small frame Garrett turbos or the Mitsubishi turbos, although they're probably M12x1.25.

i did it the easy way. there is a couple water lines on your throtal body. i pulled the line from the back side of the iacv that runs to the back of the block or mani.... dont really remember.... but i pulled that out and ran a longer hose to the turbo and then a return line back to the block where the hose originally went..anyway i spent like 10 bucks at autozone for some rubber hose and like another 5-10 bucks for the barbed fittings for the turbo. i have daily'd it like this for over 6 months without any problems

So, do it like we all used to before CNC made life easy, remove the factory freeze plug, drill, and weld a -8an male.

so does it matter which one is in and out? or they just work the same as long as you got a flow?

If I run water on my turbo I plan on getting this for the return flow:

I like that set-up "invtec". Really easy to run the lines that way. But not as clean and hidden as the way "a1320addict" did it. I would probably use the block heater port as well.

can you feed and return both to the radiator?

i want to feed it off the bottom of the rad and return it to the top.

i am having some slight overheating issues and i figured it would be best if the hot coolant from the turbo dont ever even go to the motor. if its possible i would like to both feed and return directly to the radiator.
