Ferrea valves are around $21-23 a piece, not sure about the springs and retainers. I know it's up there.

Rocket Motorsports valvetrain, IMO, is the best that money can buy and they are extremely affordable. Contact Aquafina here on H-T and tell him clean rice sent you, he's a cool guy

I think you can get the RM valvetrain for around $280 with TI retainers. I have NEVER seen a thread of them floating or dropping a valve. Tbone here on H-T has a big n/a motor and he runs the RM gen 2 springs. He's dyno'd about every camshaft under the sun(Jun 3's, S2S3's, BC4/5, S2 Pro 1/2 etc.) and he's never once switched out the valvetrain. Keep in mind these are cams with up to 12.8 lift and they have been past 10k rpm several times. You have a choice between the gen 1 or 2 springs, gen 2's having the lighter spring preasure of the two

RM gets my vote..

over 2 years on the same set..10K rpms to first year and 11K rpms the second year..now dropping my rev limit down to 9800 but still on the same set..

I can hook you up with these if you chose this route..

I'm also tempted to replace my stock ('90 vintage) valvesprings with some RM Gen 1s... using stock GSR cams for now. I'm very interested in this thread, just bumping it
