Default Turbo v.s. NA

hey everyone i figured i should ask you guys since most of the people in here are very knowlegable. But why does my buddies built SI all motor with 236 hp get better traction then my cousins boosted SI doing 227 hp? they both are running Falken azenis tires on 16 rims. they're both pretty good drivers and when they swaped cars my buddies SI was still hooking up better off the line and my cousins will get about 1/2 a car at the top of 3rd and begining of 4th before they let out??? first i thought it was just turbo lag v.s. no turbo lag, but the turbo is a stock GSX unit, so turbo lag is almost unoticable. Both are 00 models just different colors. I dont really know exactly what their set ups are but i went to the dyno with them when they went this past summer. let me know if you guys have any ideas thanks

Your buddy's boosted setup is making a lot more torque, that's why he's not getting traction.

Id be willing to bet the turbo setup is making 30-40 wtq more than NA.
