Default turbo trim

turboing the d16y8, and im looking to get either a t3/t4 or t/3 and im seeing all these trim sizes. What do the trim sizes measure, opening on the turbo.

also what would be the best turbo, hybird or the t3 and which trim size, i wanna be full spool by 3000, somewhere in there, what would be the best trim

Man, Id say If you Want to fully spool at 3000rpm with a t3/t4, then you better be built.

Im curious, what is your setup?

well right now, im in process of piecing together the kit, short tublar cc-fab mani, tial 38mm external wastegate, 3inch dp, fmic, 2.5 inch intercooler pipes, skunk2 pro series intake mani, 310cc precision injectors, obdI p28 ecu with p30 base map with boost, obdIIbto obdI boom slang convo. harness

ive been reading around and i see what people are spooling at most around 3000rpm or close

like im looking at a t3 and this is the options

Garrett T3 "SUPER 60" Turbo
Super 60 Trim Compressor Wheel
-.42 A/R or .60 A/R (Shown) Compressor Housing**
-.48 A/R or .63 A/R Turbine Housing Option
-Stage 1 Turbine Wheel

what would be better on that

or how are the t25 or t 28's?
