Hey guys i was wondering if someone would explain trim to me and what all it is used for.

im not an expert here but from what i understand, diffrent trim sizes determin how fast your turbo will spool up. smaller trim faster spool up. But at the same time the smaller trims wont boost as long as the bigger turbos, meaning your smaller trim turbo might run out of breath in the higher rpm bands.

Hopefully some other people can contribute to this post.

 

trim= (minor wheel diameter divided by major wheel diameter)squared, times 100

 

Oh really?... I thought "trim" meant like....ummm....something else...
