Default is this turbo too big?

i have a stock b18c1 right now and i hav ea t28 turbo on it. But i might be having problems with the seals, im not sure but if i were to replace it i wanted to replace it with a t3 60-1 w/ .63 A/R Turbine.
COMPRESSOR SPECS:T04S
.70 A/R HOUSING
60 TRIM WHEEL

TURBINE SPECS:
.63 A/R HOUSING
HIGH FLOW 76 TRIM WHEEL

But on my stock block i will only be able to run like 7psi..,, but i want to get this turbo so i don thave to upgrade it in the future when i get a built block. so how do u think this turbo will perform at only 7psi? is it way too big? Will it make a decent powerband? thanx guys

not big enuf, bolt this baby on: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...&category=6764

edit: you have a honda, its a 1.8L, you dont need a huge turbo even at 15psi...

i have a t28 right now, no way thats gonna handle 15psi and not blow hot air. and im looking for a turbo that will be able to handle like 22+psi at the track so i want a decently sized turbo. i jsut want something that i wont have to worry abotu upgrading later

Your engine is capable of handling 22 PSI but you're only running 5.5 PSI?

All turbos blow hot air, and yes a t28 will hold 15 pis steadily on a 1.8L engine. Just dont go too large is all i'm saying.

no my engien cant handle 15psi, if you read my original post then u would see i hav ea stock block right now. but i dont want to have to upgrade my turbo again when i build my block. Okay, you got me, a t28 CAN hold 15 psi but im not confident in my wastegate keeping that at 15psi since ints internal, and it wont be blowing as much cfm as a larger turbo. and i was jsut askign about this turbo because it seems people like to run it on their cars with built blocks pushing high boost, so i just wanted to know how it would work at low boost if i have to do that for awhile. thanx

Maybe look into a t3/t4e with around the specs as you listed for the 60-1 if your gonna be running 7psi for a while.

Just curious as to the specs of your T28. i.e. A/Rs, Wheel trims, or what it is off of. Thanks. You also realize that a manifold with a T25 flange won't work w/ a T3 flanged turbo...
