Default turbo timers, options?

what turbo timers are out there? I'm looking for one as it is a PAIN in the *** to sit in thine car for 5 mins to cool it down before doing anything.

Also on a related note, how do some of you peeps handle a crowded school parking lot? I come out to my car, I get ready to warm it up for a while, but before I get in my car, some *** is waiting for me to get out of my spot so he can jump in after I leave. Screw that, im trying to nurse a brand new turbo. I have had to get out of my car after I start it, walk over to the person waiting, and kindly tell them my situation. They get ******* PISSED!!! **** em!! How do you guys deal with them?

HKS, Greddy, Pivot, Razo, Apexi, and on and on.

As for the pissed off people situation, an aluminum tee ball bat comes in mighty handy. Small, but will split heads open when you need it to.

or just pick up a book and act like your reading. roll down the window and relax..they'll get the point. if they dont, thats where the bat suggestion come in

I wouldnt tell people you situation. On of these days that person is gonna say, hmm a brand new motor--it cant be that hard to steal that car.

I would just fumble through the car like I am looking for something, or like someone else said, pick up a book, or even just recline the seat and act like your going to sleep in between classes--thats what I used to do

Well lets see, I'm still in the market for a turbo timer myself. So far I have seen a **** load. Hmm, the most popular got to be: All prices are kinda ballpark, not exact so don't take this as gospel. Manual means, you have to press buttons before you leave the car, Auto means it measures for you and calculates cool off time, and there are various little features.

Greddy 100 auto
Apex'i 100 auto
Blitz Fatt & Dtt 90 &120 auto w/voltage, auto with boost gauge
Hks 100 manual
Carmate 85 manual
Fizz 65 manual
Catz 95 not sure
Defi costs way to much 240 auto with other stuff

That's all I can think of right now. THese are prices from a local shops near me.
I think I am going to settle with the blitz, though.

As for the parking spot thing, I say **** whoever waits like an impatient pain in the ***. Hey if you have to warm up the turbo car, that takes precedence. I mean if you are going to invest all the money into a nice setup, that you can appreciate, you might as well take care of it, right? I just usually smile and just chill. If they say something, i just say, what are you going to do, tow me away? It's likely they won't be able to chase you out of the parking lot now is it?

1) think of how a turbo timer works (this will be more difficult for some)
2) goto radio shak, bring spare change
3) spend 30 mins installing (do a good job) your new turbo timer
4) laugh at the fools who spent exponentially more for an obscenely simple device

How long do you wait in the car for? I just wait about 30 seconds after regular driving and maybe a minute after hard driving. Pisses my friends off when they have to wait with me so they volunteer to drive more often

Hey, that Blue LCD looks bad azz! I'm in the market for one because of the exact same reason you got it! Where and how much did you get it for?

Check out http://jaycarstore.webfactory.com.au/index11.ws4d They have turbotimer kits for pretty damn cheap (Prices are in AU dollars, though), works out to like $18 US... I don't think shipping is that much so you can get a turbo timer with case(don't know how nice it looks, but they seem quality) for next to nothing and probably better than something pieced from radioshack(though I'm not knockin it at all)
