Default Turbo timer not always working?

Just installed a Greddy turbo timer, and it doesnt always seem to work. You have to be really quick about turning the car off or it will just die. There seems to be a split second between turning the the key off and the timer taking over, and if you aren't quick enough that split second is enough for the engine to shut off. Anyone else had this problem, and is there a fix for it?

Did you solder the wires? If you did not, check your wiring. Something might be loose.

No, I used scotch-locks. It works sometimes, I just have to be really quick about turning the key. The car dies but the timer keeps counting down like the car is still running.

Mine works fine also. You might want to re-check how you wired it up. I disabled the parking brake option and it ain't wired up.

Well, i wired it as per instructions, but after talking to Toshi at Greddy he gave me a couple other wiring options to try. He says things might vary a bit on a Honda/Acura vs. other cars. We'll see tonight. Thanks

is your foot completely off the clutch before you take the key out? I had a problem where i would shift the car into neutral, then taking the key out with my foot slightly on the clutch and the tt would shut off during my first week with the tt.
