Default Turbo then swap?

I'm sure this has been asked before, but i'm curious, cause i want boost, and i want it now, but i think i'm gonna want a b18a/b/c sometime after. If i buy/build a turbo kit for my 99 civic, and then i decide to swap the engine out, but want to keep the turbo kit, is the only thing that needs to be changed, the exhaust manifold? Or are there other parts that are not compatible with the b18 and d16?

well, the turbo you might run on a d16 wouldnt be at all suitable for a b18, so suggest swap then turbo
