Default turbo techies please look!

just recently boosted my d16z6 using a t25 and something is not right! i've got the boost guage and the blow off valve hooked up to the fpr and im reading 0.3 bar when i try to up the boost its feels faster but reads lower on my boost guage!! i also think that the blow off valve isnt working because the whoosh noise is coming from the air filter! think the blow off valve is leaking air aswell although the rubber is not split at all! it is not adjustable and it is only a low pressure spring! any ideas is greatlt appreciated!!!

first off, who is the manufacturer of your boost gauge? that could quickly answer your question.

second, what blow-off valve have you hooked up?

not sure on the make of the guage or the blow off valve! could it be that the fpr is sucking the bov open or something? getting a lil worried bout it! thanks for the replys

Theres no manufacturer name anywhere on the boost gauge?

Are you using a 1st gen DSM blow off valve?

Details will help on this.

List what exactly what you got.

Some BOV don't make much nosie so you have to put your hand infront of the BOV to see if air is coming out.

If you say that you boost it higher and the boost guage does not read the higher readings then it sounds like a leak in the I/C pipe somewhere.

You might have a loose connection so the turbo might be spooling more but the air is leaking out somewhere.

The way to check the I/C pipe to see if it's not leaking is just move the the pipes around a bit. If it's loose then you will feel it if you don't see it first.
