i dont understand how this would be accomplished unless you build another chamber around the condensor to hold the water

that sounds like a good idea, I used an oil cooler from a bone yard.

I wouldn't use it for the awic, I would use it to cool the water that goes into the awic.

Hope that makes since

Yeah like that truck... The ford I think. You use the AC's cold lines to chill the **** out of your air to water's water tank (and contents) and then go. Would work really well, especially since it turns off @ WOT, it can be going all the time on the street.

I've wanted to try that for a while. I think the big question is how much pressure drop you would get pushing the water through it. The passages might be so small that it creates too much restriction for the water. Sure would be nice it it would work. They're the perfect size, and great for the 'stealth' look.

That's not quite what I'm talking about. You don't use your AC "radiator" as the cooler for the water, you actually use your AC. Just re-route the lines from the "air handler" core to the AWIC core... and produce some insanely cold water.

wont work, the ac system will never cool the water enough to get any gains from it.

besides, you would always need your ac on

Jonnyquest is talking about the ford lightning. Also your ac system can cool well enough. Just go out and run the a/c then feel your low pressure side line.
