NGK BKR7E gapped 32-34
I'm running the zfr6j-11's at about .035, but I want to step up to colder ones (7's) but every place I call claims that they don't make any. I looked on the chart and in the book and nothing. I got some Denso's something like (something)20(something)L11 which is the recommended "high-speed driving" plug like the zfr6j11, written under the hood of my car...

This is on a SOHC d-series?

I also use BKR7E's. I got mine from http://www.clubplug.net and http://www.summitracing.com

Re: turbo SOHC spark plugs (ion_four)
Napa can order them, and if you have O'Reillys near you they actually stock them. I was using two step colder NGK's until a few days ago when I decided to try out some Champions(also two steps colder). I have to tell you my car runs much better now, but it might just be because I was replacing 9 month old plugs.

Re: turbo SOHC spark plugs (mplex2000)
I worked at a part's store this summer and this "old timer" always came in and bought autolites and claimed they are the best plugs in the world...kinda got me thinking...I use ngk's religiously, but trying different brands could be worth a shot, though I am under the impression that autolites suck ***.
I think I'll be getting some bkr7e's real soon. Any idea how much this will lower my egt's compared to zfr6j-11's? I'm running pretty rich with stock timing and still goes up to about 1000ºF while cruising. I understand that retarding the timing will raise egt's, but will it also lower cylinder temps, since that's what I'm concerned about?
