What are your power goals?
What are you using the car for?
Do you have any specific needs from the turbo setup??

Remember that spool and powerband are also influenced by the manifold you use...Answer those questions and we'll help you out.

o.k then

B16a

Built bottom end, CP's, Pauters, erl 5main, studs etc.

Itr cams, supertech VTkit.

Would love Australian 370-400hp.

Do not want too much lag as the car is for track use i.e circuit.

Would love at least 170-200hp by about 4400rpm.

I have no idea what to go for.

the top end of a thirty and the bottom end of a 2871, 2876.

What do the people from here suggest?

Search "Tony the Tiger"...he's got a great setup and something you may want to model yours after.

I would suggest an 81.5mm (if you're running stock sleeves) and then maxxing something like the GT2871r with Methanol injection in the higher boost levels on a compression level near stock....maybe higher. I know he was running 11:1 on a Dart block.

Another setup that is similar to what you want was built by Batboyvaj...he's a local guy who has a 400+whp GT2871r on E85 on an 83mm sleeved B IIRC. It spools damn near instantly, makes good torque in the midrange and continues through the high rpms. It does drop off up top, but that could be combatted somewhat by a larger (.82ar) turbine side or even a hybrid GT series of some kind.

PM The Shodan and outline your goals...he will be able to get you something that works for your exact needs. He built my current turbo and it does exactly what i want...he's a great guy to work with.
