I know a guy in my area Who runs 10psi daily on his stock block Si, and he ran 13.5 psi on a few runs at the track (12.2 at ???mph) Keep in mind he has tuned his car.

I dyno'd @ 228fwhp and 203fwtq w/ no tuning @ 8psi

Run 13.3

If questioning if it's worth it..It is!

Stock motor
Drag Gen III turbo
3" custom downpipe(thanks to artturbo) 3" custom exhaust then thru a 3" random cat and then out thru a universal 3" apexi N1
toda flywheel and act xtreme pp and full face disc
no timing retard(I gained 50 hp just from leaving the timing stock)

when the 6btm is set to 1 deg retard per lb the car the car put down 197fwhp @ 6psi and 177fwhp @ 8lbs and the power curve is so damn ugly! Now @ the 8lb setting the car ran beatifully w/o retarding the timing. and yeah you're right, I probably could get more power if I just tune it ...

most b16s get about 240 hp @ 9lbs. My friend with a built 2000 civic si running 18 lbs of boost hit a 12.03.

I never said it wasn't impressive, I said it wasn't AS impressive as my friend running just about the same time with less psi and a stock block.
