Default turbo setup worth it?

hey guys, i came across this offer from an acquaintance of mine. hes selling his turbo kit for 500 bucks. he was asking more, but i guess he needs the money since he lost his job.

heres the setup.

-t3 turbo, internal wastegate, seems like to shaft play, no cracks at all. didnt get a chance to see the turbine to check for chips and what not. he claims less than 100 miles on the turbo.
-hks ss bov
-no name brand intercooler
- OBX turbo manifold, the wastegate flange has been welded shut.
- all oil lines necessary
-crap piping, no FMU.

this is coming off an ls/vtec setup, and going onto a b18b1. what do you guys think? should i go thru with this?

Not worth it in my opinion. A good Turbo Kit is gonna cost you alot more than $500, seems like you would want to replace all this stuff anyway. Just save your money and do it right.

depends all on what u plan on doing with the car. i made my own turbo kit out of dsm parts for 1000$ including all piping, and fuel management, afc, b&m fpr and gauge and 450 injectors, runs great, liek i said it all depends on what u want to do
