Icon2 turbo set-up help...

im building a d16z6 turbo..and i was wondering what turbo set up would be best to hit 400hp. my block is goin to be built w/ vitara pistons, scat rods, acl bearings 75.5 mm bore, crank, rods, pistons balanced, crank knive edged, arp headstuds, and stock head for right now. i was also wondering if i had to notch my block cuz of my rods.

Default Re: turbo set-up help...

I'm not 100% on the scat rods, but as far as i know most aftermarket d series rods require the block to be notched....

400hp could be hit with a lot of different turbos.. Here's a good reference..

look around at other builds too... some turbos will have more lag than others... obviously you have to decide if you want quicker spool/more high end power, etc...
