Default which turbo for this set up

Hey guys just wanted to get some ideas from people who have a idea about which turbos to get cause i have no clue. and im not risking [freak]ing up my engine by asking some shops that have no clue. so here is what i got working

my goal is 400+ WHP

b18b1
Darton sleeved
SRP Forged 84mm 9:1
Jackknifed forged crank
9lb fly wheel
had it blue printed and balanced

itr tranny

b16a2 head
port and polish
3 angle valve job
cower stage2 cams
cower duel springs
cower tit retainers
cower valves
skunk2 intake
skunk2 70mm throtle body
skunk2 composite fuel rail
550 injectors

walbro 255 fuel pump
hondata s300

I think thats it might be more just runing off of memory right now. I have the head back from the machine shop and about to put that together. i will have my block back in a week and a half. please if you have any changes you would do please tell me why. so i'll post some pics once i get to the machine shop to see how the block is coming along.

What power are you looking for?
Purpose of car?
Chassis?
What's the budget you want to spend?
Are you willing to add to the budget for water lines (GT-R series) if necessary
Do you want A/C Power steering?

And the list goes one..

These questions are essential to assist in your choice.

First of all, you're going to need at least 880cc injectors. Those 550s are going to max around 350whp. Also, what fuel do you plan to run?

Honestly, i think a Borg Warner S258 would be awesome on your setup. It will make 400whp on pump gas, but has the potential to make a lot more on race gas. That turbo is capable of 550+whp which your engine setup is capable of handling. It would give you the power you want now with room to grow.

really no need for stage 2 cams. gsr cams will work fine. or you could go with ITR cams for a little more top end. Why not just get a peakboost kit or full race kit. those both will net you in the 400-450whp range on pump. i have a peakboost kit and made 385whp at 14psi conservativly. those are the better kits to buy. if a t3/t4 turbo dont suit your needs both company offer upgrades to diffrent turbo's

so i was study up and saw there is a bypass valve and Blow off valve and a diverter valve. What would work best for me? i see that the blow off valve does have some problems like allowing the air sensor to think there is air in the manifold and pushing more gas in the engine then is required. so whats the verdict? which would you guys recommend?

I answered this in your other thread. Basically, our cars dont have a Mass Air Flow meter like some other cars which allows us to use an atmospheric bov without issue.

Also, the kits above are fine, but i've always been a big fan of piecing together setups. You can always buy a mani/dp/dump combo and add in the other parts on your own. I like this method because you can tailor your setup 100% to your needs and goals.

My buddy just swapped from a Borg Warner 256 to a GT3076R and the unit spools up quicker and picked up about 20 whp in the lower range. Car is making 452 whp and is not breaking a sweat. Really a pleasure to drive.
