how is that pic confusing.. the sensor sees the turbine spinning.. like abs wheel speed sensors work. looks like you run the wires throught the pipe then out a drilled hole or something.

This Meter is developed to measure Turbo charged car condition.
Turbo charged car, due to lack of oil control, occurs etching in turbine,
by adopting non-contact optical fiber sensor, make possible to protect
above trouble and by adopting pulse motor, make strong to vibration and
indicate correct display. Also contains CPU circuit which make possible Max.

okay... can someone translate that to more understanable english?

ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US!

Seriously, that is cool idea! They need a little help in the marketing dept for US customers though.

It means that the purpose of the meter is to help you determine the condition of the turbo wheel speed based on rpm . There is no really a way to determine the condition of the turbo until it starts smoking or making unappropiate noises which are until now the only way to detect malfunction in your turbo. We hope that with this new system you will be able to diagnose if your turbo is gonna go to ***** because you changed your oil every 4k miles and never changed the oil filter.

Enjoy you product !

Hey might not be accurate but it sounded like it came straight from the source.

the more a I look at this thing, the more I want it...but it looks like some fabrication will be needed to the turbo..

I don't think its new, but I 've never seen it before...the only thing I'm concerned about is having that optical sensor being sucked into the blades...

It only goes to 20,000 RPM's...

Dont the T3/T4's spin much higher than that, like 100,000 RPM's (+/- 20,000 or so)?

It only goes to 20,000 RPM's...
I have a feeling there is an extra zero tucked under the needle... as in "RPM X 10,000" which would make a LOT more sense since 20k RPM's on a turbo is nothing
