JE or Total Seal?
There probably made by the same company with a different name. Mine smokes at start up but i think its from the turbo large ring gap. Im going to redue it with not so much gap.

As for ring gap is concern, is there any particular gap size for primary, secondary and oil rings are? or just use the standard honda spec?

Yes there is a spec depending on the piston size in inches times the spec for application you are running. When you get your rings it will have a spec chart and explain it pretty good. I did it like it said though and rounded the numbers up and it smokes at startup.

Example for My TURBO application rings:
Piston size in inches" X application running(NA or Turbo) for the two top rings.
Mine was 3.184 X .006 = My top ring gap.
Then 3.184 X .005 = MySecondary ring gap.
Lastly .015 for the oil ring gap should not need to gap these.

Im going to re-ring it and round the numbers down slightly and re-hone the cylinders.

Whats the difference in total seal and regular rings cause it seems that they are pushing total seal rings in magazine adds ALOT. Im going with what ever comes from JE but im curious to know why they are pushing these rings when alot of people say they are bad.
