Got a buddy that just installed a turbo kit on his r18 08 Civic Ex Manual.. Getting a CEL p1129, High Map sensor voltage... Car will die all of sudden and not start.. When you try to accelerate, pedal will not give any gas.. Anyways, any ideas? The map sensor/throttle body/intake manifold wasn't touched during the install.. But car is using an AEM fuel/ignition controller(Shitty) box..

Any ideas??

check out the wiring to that specific MAP circuit.
p1129 means exactly what it says.

How much boost are you running? Possibly maxing out your factory MAP.
I should hope you upgraded to a 3bar map, as OEM maps can only handle about 11lbs.
