Turbo questions?
looking at getting a Greddy kit fot my ZC and was wonderign if anything needed to be done to the motor prior to installing it? what things should i check to make sure everything is on working order? should i have my head rebuilt? last time i did a compression test all cylinders were about 195, only one was 206, can't really remember. but is this ok? btw i have a 90 ZC with about 60,000 on the clock, ZC tranny and ZC ecu, plus the basci boltons. thanks in advance for any help....
Greddy does relatively low boosts so you should be pretty safe on a stock engine, providing that its healthy...If you plan to boost higher in the future, at the very least change the head gasket. Pistons wouldn't hurt. But as is straight out of the box, you should be ok.
