Try here
http://www.forums.vwvortex.com

And this seems to be the big BMW site for info on ****

http://www.bimmerfest.com

Honestly i think that the turbo scene will really blow up after the release of the new 300hp TT 3-series

Sweet.. stay ahead of the curve.

I hope you have the manual tranny because the auto won't hold up.

Find someone that can make a manifold for you first.

I'll see if I can find some info after I eat...

I was just reading up on some turbo Beemers, and most of them are M3's, which is to be expected. One guy custom built his header and ran a T3/T04E at 9 psi with no problem. His wastegate was effed up and pushed over 20 psi and only blew the headgasket. He now runs 14 psi daily. 7-9 psi is the average, but it goes all the way to 15 daily.

Assuming you have the manual, go out and see if you have a hope of a chance of fitting a manifold/turbo in that beyotch, then we can get into details.

My dad works with this guy, and one of his friends is a skate boarder, can't remember his name. If you have ever seen mischief rally videos he's on there a few times in his bimmer. But i guess this guy has a newer M5, with a vortech i believe. Was making around a 1000hp. My dad has seen the car, said it was sweet. I guess they were going to come around this area and race some hyubusas on the highway with mischief, not sure it ever happened. Oh and he got on it once on the highway, broke a half shaft, and the super awesome electronics in the bimmer flipped out, blew off the air bags and locked everything up haha now thats funny, well maybe not if your in the car. It definetly is possible though... have fun.
