Default turbo question please help

stock ls with drag 3 kit....everything stock...damn thing seems to be getting way too hot...its smokin...the turbo turned bright red around the area wehere it is connected to the manifold....thing was extremely hot....anyone kno why..havent had it tuned or anything.....turbo so frustrating..............

That probily means you're running lean. Lean = Hotter, Ritch = Cooler, I suggest you tune your car ASAP.

is your cam timing on... opening the valve closer to the hottest part of the exhaust flame would definatly cause this

cam timing?????......im pretty sure the car is not running lean...a/f gauge reads fine for awhile but when it heats up then it juss dont owrk no more....weird...how much timing should be adjusted??
