Turbo question (n00bie)
i have recently purchased a Fmax kit for the h22. (t3/t4) I purchased some DSM 450's, and i already have a vafc. So, i was planing on doing the hack until i have some more money to get a standalone system.
My question is, i have a jdm h22 and the cr is 10.6:1, (the usdm version is 10.1:1) I only plan on boosting 6 psi max (until i re-sleeve). Since this kit was made to run on the 10.1@9 psi , does it make a lot of difference that it will be on used on 10.6@6 psi?
If it does then how much would a .057" Cometic head gasket drop the cr?
If anyone has other opinions or options your comments are welcome

so your plaining on running the afc hack at 6psi right.
i think you should be fine. the compression is a little high. but as long as your a/f is good and your not detonating i think your good.
as for the head gasket, i think it drops it half point. which would take you right back to the 10.1
