Default turbo question

so heres what im thinking

z6 + y8 head
stock pistons and rods
block gaurd
vx mani with t25 (2g dsm turbo)
walbro 255
390cc dsm injectors
boost controller set at 4-7 lbs
wideband

all in a wagon still obd0 with resistor pack

now the question is how bad will my afr be if i run it with out a tune for a little bit?

Your Air/Fuel ratio will be jacked up and you'd risk destroying what you just spent all that money on. Doesn't make sense not to tune it. I think you'd have to change your ECU too, probably obd1 with MPFI instead of obd0 and DPFI. The computer stuff is the reason my current Civic is still unboosted.

mine is rt4wd so its obd0 mpfi

4-7psi equals...what?
dont use psi as a gauge for hp. also to run that low of psi you need to make to when the wastegate opens

from what i was reading the internal wastergate, it opens at 8psi....

Let me rephrase
If you have an 8lb spring in your wastegate you can not set your boost controller to 4lbs. If you want to achieve 4lbs...then you need a 3lb spring. Your spring has to be lower then your lbs you want to make.

alright lets change it to i wanna run 8lbs still how will be afr's be? will i be to lean or rick running the 390's?

wont be to bad, you will need to run stock injectors... Just stay out of any boost at all... I would trailer it
