Beginners Turbo question for z6
Hi, i am new to turbos. I have a d16z6 with all stock everything, pistons, injectors, everything. I was wondering how many pounds of boost that this engine can take without detonation a piston or causing other serious problems.

200-225whp is where you should stop on a stock z6, rods get kinda sketchy around 220-250whp, some people push them farther, some have failures lower. Go read the SOHC turbo thread floating around here. lots of good reading, look at peoples setups and power they made. it will give u a good idea of what to put together for your power goals.
