Turbo question

Is the Garrett T3 out of a Nissan the same as any other Garrett T3? If so is it possible to remove the factory wastegate and use an aftermarket, manifold mounted one?

yes its internally the same, the trim may vary but its the same turbo. And yes its possible to ditch the integral (built in) wastegate in favor of an external

2 door or 4 door?? The garret turbo he's talking about would come from a Z31, 84 to 86. 87-89 had T25's. Z31's didn't come in four doors, most sports cars don't.
