turbo question...

Default turbo question...

I have a brand new turbo but it is already leaking from the turbine housing by one bolt, i tighten all the bolts again to make sure, but is this common on some turbo? ? btw the turbo was just install and was testing and checking for leaks. First time dealing with turbo so any help will be appreciated. thanks

No its not common. You need to be more specific. Its leaking on the turbine housing by one bolt? Come on man how are we supposed to help you?

What kind of turbo ? I have seen some people have issues with brand new turbos there dealers. Its more so a small leak that just builds up on the bottom of the turbo itself.

Might be a good read to see if you can relate to it.

it similar to mines.
it just a drop after letting the motor running for a bit.
hopefully it stops.
any more helps will be greatly appreciated..
