Default turbo question

im having some serious boost lag on my integra. is it because its a sleeve bearing turbo? cause when i spin the compressor wheel with my finger, it only spins for a couple of seconds . help me?

Having a journal bearing vs a ball bearing isn't going to change the initial spool contrary to popular belief. The difference with ball bearing (GT-R series) units is that they're designed around the BB CHRA so its the package deal (wheels and BB CHRA) working together that improves overall efficiency. The most notable thing about the Garrett GT-R series is the transient response (respool after shifting). It is much more responsive in that respect.

What are your power goals? There are a lot of turbos available that will make good power and spool faster than most normal T3/T04x turbos. My GT3255b is an example of one such turbo....

with a tune im lookin to be in the 300hp range.
