Default Turbo Question (2000 Si)

Im planning on getting the Greddy turbo kit with the intercooler for my 2000 Si. I understand that it's a direct bolt on kit so I don't need to replace internals yet. If I wanted to raise the boost, what would you reccomend for my compression? And how much PSI can I be running safely? Thanks...im really new to the turbo stuff haha.

usually when you upgrade to forged internals most ppl will go with a 9.1 compression pistion... with really good tuning 15-20psi is possible maybe more...

Hey, don't bother with that greddy kit man. Get yourself a drag or rev hard kit, they will work a lot better for ya sence the b16, has such a short stroke.
Besides you'll make more power and be happyer.

The only people I recommend Greddy kits for is those who have to deal with SMOG issues.

In my opinion, the greddy kits just don't cut it when it comes to making good power. As far as boost pressure... tune it for 8psi on stock internals and be happy.
